The development of the digital competences has becoming necessary for creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship and to ensure forms of full participation of the citizens to the always more digitalized society of the 21st century. The necessity to ensure a more wide capacity of usage of the new TIC instruments (technologies of information and communication) and to favor the development of the knowledge of usage modalities of the contests and institutional and not institutional backgrounds, formal and informal that the web proposes, are certainly priorities in the action ways defined by the Digital Italian Agenda and Tuscany.
 

The Italian Digital Agenda believes that the acquisition of digital competences is fundamental to ensure the access of young people to the new requests of the work market and to re-qualify, from the professional point of view, who has come out from it for skill-shortage, giving him/her righter and more adjourned instruments for the changed needs of the contest.
The Tuscany digital agenda finds out, among its aims, the contrast to the digital divide (digital divide, and promotes the participation, to the training services of the citizens and the culture of privacy in the Tuscany regional community through the internet.

In this contest of reference, and from the point of view to favor even the social inclusion processes, Trio offers to all the citizens and to the public and private organizations the possibility to access, completely free, to an offer of training resources finalized to the development of the digital competences and verged for various target of users (citizens, enterprises, sanity, schools, libraries, public administration).

The training TRIO offer, as for what provided by the key competence for the permanent learning of reference ( digital competence), wants to favor and promote the development of the awareness and of knowledge of the role and opportunities offered by the technologies of the information society in daily life, private and social life, at work through the development of knowledge as for:  

  • usage of the main informatics applications;
  • opportunities and potential risks of the internet;
  • communication techniques through the electronic supports;
  • juridical and ethical principles that proffers in the interactive usage of the technologies of the information society;
  • modalities of research, collection and treatment of the information for a systematic and critic usage.
